Doctor Frankenstein and Count Dracula hatch a fiendish plan to entice young virgins to Transylvania by offering them free holidays through their company: Young Blood Holidays.
Meanwhile in Purley, the Poor family — a family of actors who despise musicals—are desperate for a holiday. Young Virginia spots an ad in the Croydon Advertiser and soon they are on their way to the Count’s castle.
After a ferry crossing they arrive in Calais, where they meet Jonathan Harker, Mina Murray, Lucy Seward and Dr Van Helsing who are also on their way to the castle, and share a dislike of musicals. The good people of Calais direct them all the way to the Slaughtered Lamb, an inn that lies in the shadow of Dracula’s castle and they later arrive, finally, at the home of the Count himself.
After an unappetising dinner and several strange goings on, Lucy is taken ill. The group decide to consult with the locals the following day to see if anything can be done for Lucy.
After a disturbing night, we meet the local gypsies who are leaving town shortly to go to Warlingham where they hear there is a good chance of getting parts in a musical. But before they leave, they warn that you should stay away from Count Dracula and Doctor Frankenstein at all costs!
Returning to the castle to save Lucy and escape, the group are met by Frankenstein and Dracula and the pair’s fiendish plan is finally revealed. Will good conquer evil and save the day? Will anyone ever want to hear a musical number again?
