Written and directed by Christine Woodhead
Following the success of our previous murder mystery event – Murder Afloat - our March 2013 production was another thrilling tale of mayhem, malice and murder, entitled Murder at the Manor and again written by our very talented Christine Woodhead.
The comedy/drama contains larger-than-life characters and the audience is invited to question the suspects to seek out the murderer.
The quiet and reclusive life of Honoria Belcanto, the renowned romance novelist, and her assorted staff, is interrupted by the unexpected arrival of general busy-body and amateur sleuth, Aphrodite Baggage. Unsurprisingly, it is not long before Aphrodite’s detective skills are called upon when an intruder is spotted in the grounds and shortly after that a fatal poisoning occurs.
