Synopsis

Blithe Spirit
A comedy by Noel Coward

Cantakerous novelist Charles Condomine invites the eccentric medium and clairvoyant, Madame Arcati, to his house to conduct a séance, hoping to gather material for his next book. The scheme backfires when he is haunted by the ghost of his annoying and temperamental first wife, Elvira. Elvira makes continual attempts to disrupt Charles's marriage to his second wife, Ruth, who cannot see or hear the ghost. As Elvira and Charles continue to clash Ruth is accidentally killed, "passes over", joins Elvira and the two "blithe spirits" haunt the hapless Charles into perpetuity.

Doors open at 7:30pm, please don't plan to arrive before 7:30pm because we may still be setting up and will have to ask you to wait outside for safety reasons.

Seating is around tables of eight, please feel free to bring your own drinks and nibbles and a group of mates and make yourselves at home. Tea and coffee is available during the interval.

We have a ramp for disabled access, accessible toilets and a hearing loop available, our front of house team are happy to help when you arrive.
