Synopsis

Murder at the Music Hall
A murder mystery by Christine Woodhead

The time is 1912 and the audience is arriving at the less than illustrious Empire Theatre, in the outskirts of London. However, the evening’s entertainment of comedy, music and feats of illusion is about to be interrupted by tragedy.

Amongst the grease-paint and faded costumes, in the heated atmosphere of back-stage rivalries and artistic temperaments, there lurks a murderer. Are you able to help solve the crime? Can you spot the killer in the cast?

Come and test your powers of deduction and unmask the culprit! Our audience will sit around tables of eight and will be served a fish and chip supper during the interval. You'll have the opportunity to interrogate the characters to see who the murderer is before the play continues and the killer is unmasked.
