November/December 2023 Production

A Bunch of Amateurs

By Ian Hislop & Nick Newman
Directed by Linda Harris

What could be more natural than playing an amateur dramatics group putting on a play, this should be right up our street! This is a comedy about an amdram group's attempts to put on a production of King Lear, however, problems ensue when they invite an egotistical, pampered, Hollywood film star to take on the lead role. It's a very funny play and we are thoroughly enjoying rehearsing it, we hope you enjoy it too!
