Play Reading - Wednesday 12th and Monday 17th March

The Odd Couple by Neil Simon

Join us at the Hut on Wednesday 12th March or Monday 17th March from 8pm to read The Odd Couple and catch up with friends.

We will be performing The Odd Couple (female version) by Neil Simon in July so this is a great opportunity to find out more about the play and the roles available. Our lovely director Keith Harper will be talking us through some of his ideas for the production and we'll all head down to the pub for a de-brief afterwards I'm sure.

Auditions for the show will be held in April, so watch this space for more information. If you'd like to read the play but can't make the 12th or the 17th please contact Keith and I'm sure he can arrange a script for you. See you there!

Saturday 22nd February

Charity Dance Night at La Botija, Warlingham

You are invited to an evening of Latin Dancing including salsa, merengue and bachata! We will start off the evening with a dance class so that those of you who are complete beginners can learn the basics and anyone who is intermediate can brush up on their steps! Then we’ll turn up the music and dance the night away to some classic Latin beats! Don’t worry if you don’t consider yourself a dancer…. it will be a relaxed and fun atmosphere and you are very welcome whether you are a novice or an experienced dancer!

The event is taking place in the wine bar above the fabulous La Botija tapas bar in Warlingham, Surrey (used to be the Leather Bottle pub). There is a private bar and a DJ, who will be sure to keep the dance floor full until the early hours of the morning.

Tickets and donations to Development Nepal

Tickets cost £12 including the dance class (or £6 if you want to come afterwards). We have an experienced dance teacher who is kindly giving up his time and all of the money from the ticket sales will go directly to a small charity called Development Nepal. There will also be a raffle on the night to raise more vital funds for the charity, which works with some of the poorest communities in Eastern Nepal, and there will be some fantastic prizes up for grabs!

To buy tickets please visit the fundraising page below and donate £12 if you want to take part in the class or £6 if you want to come after the class. There is only limited space in the class so please get in quickly to avoid disappointment!

If you can’t make the Latin Dance night but would like to make a donation to Development Nepal, please feel free. All donations, however big or small, are very much appreciated.

Thank you, look forward to seeing you there!

Rescheduled - Saturday 15th February 2014

Ain't No Party Like An ATG Party

ATG’s legendary fancy dress Christmas Party has been rescheduled to Saturday 15th February at The Hut at 8pm, put it in your diaries!

The theme for this year is BOARD GAMES! – Maybe you are Miss Scarlett, a snake or a ladder, a mouse in a mousetrap? The options are endless! As usual fancy dress isn't compulsory but there will be prizes for the best dressed and previous years the costumes have been so fabulous, we can't wait to see what everyone comes up with this year.

This is a night of fun, with many retro party games (special prize for anyone who can beat Ali at musical chairs... any takers?!), there will be great music from DJ Crampton, party food and prizes. All you need to bring is your lovely selves and something to drink (and a glass to drink it from). This is an over 16s only evening, so book your babysitters nice and early!

We can assure you that with decoration, the Hut is unrecognisable, and you will feel like you have been transported to a magical Christmas wonderland of board games - and let's face it, who can resist celebrating Christmas in February?! Don't miss out!
