ATG Christmas Party

HO HO HO!!!!

Just a little reminder, if you haven't told Nicola N that you're coming yet, get a wiggle on!

Are those Christmas bells I can hear? The Christmas party is rapidly approaching and as you know we like to have a little fancy dress theme. This year we have decided the theme is anything and everything beginning with A, T or G - you may want to release your inner astronaut, a teapot, a grizzly bear, unleash your minds and let them run wild!

The little elves will be transforming the Hut into a Christmas wonderland and there will be a light buffet to keep the energy levels up for dancing, games and a paramedic on standby for Musical Chairs!

Please bring your partners but get your baby sitters booked :-)

Let Nicola know if you can make it so the Christmas fairies can magic up enough food, also if you have a favourite song our DJ will get it on their playlist!

Quick info

When - Saturday 6th December
Where - The Hut
Time - 8pm - Midnight
Cost - FREE!
Theme - A>T>G

Looking forward to seeing you all there.

Laughter in the Dark Cast Parties

Cast, crew, ATG members and social members, set your diary to "social" this week as the November production and its accompanying cast parties roll in! Here's where you need to be:

Thursday 27th

Post show drinks at the White Lion for a de-brief and nerve calming brandy.

Friday 28th

Curry night at the Panahar. The table is booked, so all you need to do is decide between a rojan josh and a dopiaza, all members are welcome to join us. There will be a sign up list on Nicola's Wall backstage so make sure you add your name so we can let the restaurant know numbers.

Saturday 29th

The final cast party! Linda and Jez have kindly offered their home (and brand new kitchen) for the occasion so grab some drinks and nibbles and head on over to theirs after the clear up at the Hall for some well deserved celebratory speeches and partying. Please bring your own drinks and some food to share - add your name and the food you are bringing to the list on Nicola's Wall so Linda and Jez know how many to expect and we don't end up with 1200 packs of doritos and no dips!

Any questions, our lovely social sec Nicola is the one in the know, or any committee member can help.

The Night

We hold the ATG Awards ceremony every other year to celebrate the achievements of our members and to have a PARTY! The evening involves a three course meal, awards ceremony, cabaret, and dancing. It's a brilliant night so make sure you are there.

The Tickets

Tickets for the event cost £25 per person which covers the cost of hiring the hall, food and caterers, ATG covers the rest of the costs. ATG members are invited to bring friends and partners over the age of 16 to join the festivities.

Book your tickets and pay online here: http://www.ticketsource.co.uk/date/120370

If you'd prefer to pay by cheque please email Louise. We will need payment by 13th September at the latest so we can pay the caterers.

The Food

We’ll be having a three course meal as follows, with a choice of main course:

* Pork in a Cider Casserole
* Chicken in a Creamy Tarragon Sauce
* Vegetarian Aubergine, Tomato and Feta bake

When you have booked your tickets please email Louise with your food choices for yourself and your guests.

Vote for your winners

All ATG Full Members are eligible to vote, and you don't have to vote in every category if you don't want to. It'll take a few minutes because you'll probably want to refer to cast and crew lists to remind yourself of who did what, but complete instructions, cast lists and your voting form can be found here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/5WXFXQR please cast your votes by 13th September.

Cabaret

We’ve had some amazing cabaret performances over the years beautiful songs from the musicals, hilarious sketches, lots of silly business and several wardrobe malfunctions. If you would like to perform a cabaret act whether it be singing, dancing, acting, comedy or none of the above, then please contact Nicola Newman.

Shhh it’s a secret!

We like to keep an air of mystery about the event so please don't tell anyone who you have voted for, or what cabaret you intend to perform.

If you have any questions about the event, the voting or the tickets please feel free to contact Louise, Nicola or Gee.

See you then!
